Coordinating organisation: Westdeutscher Handwerkskammertag

Düsseldorf / Germany

The Westdeutscher Handwerkskammertag (WHKT) with registered offices in Düsseldorf is the regional council representing and joining together the seven Chambers of Crafts and Skilled Trades in North Rhine Westphalia. The specialist topics prioritised by the WHKT include craft and trade & industry law, organisational matters and vocational training and schools’ policy. In addition, the WHKT deals with economic observations and statistics, expert consultants, planning and environmental matters, Europe, multimedia, design and programming and PR work.

Fundación Laboral de la Construcción

Madrid / Spain

The FLC works to provide companies and workers with the necessary resources to promote a safer and more professional and qualified training in the construction sector. Its training offer focuses on construction activities (bricklaying, plastering, heating, plumbing, etc.) with special attention to Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Systems, counting on cutting edge technology and materials to provide training to SMEs and construction workers. Its training is specialized in construction activities. It is eminently practical and high quality, and its main aims are to retrain and specialise workers and to contribute to their employment and professional development. FLC is now a benchmark entity in the sector and a key partner in working for the future of companies and professionals. With more experience and knowledge at our disposal, FLC works to ensure that occupational risk prevention, training, employment, innovation, sustainability, and new technologies help us to continue building the sector of progress that we all believe is possible.

Scuola Costruzioni Vicenza Andrea Palladio (SCVAP)

Vicenza / Italy

SCVAP is an Italian training center in the construction sector in Vicenza and was also involved in the predecessor project "Steps". The education center trains around 2,500 apprentices every year and is managed in equal parts by employee and employer representatives. The good access to the prison in Vicenza, to voluntary organizations, to its own member companies and to both full-time and voluntary organizational bodies is ideally suited for transferring the German partners' approach to its own region in an exemplary manner.

Talentbrücke GmbH & Co. KG

International Formation Center (IFC) is a company based in Madrid dedicated to international education, language training, and professional mobility. Berufsförderungswerk der Bauindustrie NRW gGmbH

The Training Institute of Construction is a non-profit organisation and supports the building companies in addition to the company training and further education and state educational institutions. It maintains three inter-company training centres in Oberhausen, Hamm and Kerpen. These stand for the inter-company training of young people in the industrial, technical and commercial construction professions. In addition, the Vocational Training Centre also provides training for employees of construction companies who are already working and offers retraining for people from other professions in various construction professions.

Lux Impuls GmbH

Lux Impuls specialises in vocational training, with a focus on the industrial and technical sector. We focus on vocational orientation, recruitment and, above all, the retention and personal development of trainees. We are involved in EU-funded Erasmus+ projects for vocational training, organise delegation trips by vocational training experts from abroad and contribute our expertise in the sub-Saharan region.

Panhellenic Association of Engineers Contractors of Public Works (PEDMEDE)

Athens / Greece

The Panhellenic Association of Engineers Contractors of Public Works (PEDMEDE), which has represented the Greek construction sector since its foundation in 1935, covers the entire spectrum of companies involved in the construction of public works. PEDMEDE is a key stakeholder in providing feedback and input from the perspective of the Greek construction labour market and is heavily involved in related EU projects and initiatives. PEDMEDE is a statutory member of FIEC, a member of EIC and a member of EDA and has seats in the steering committees of all organisations.

Knowledge and skills management centre - K&S Skopje

The Knowledge and Skills Management Centre is a voluntary, non-profit, nongovernmental, association of citizens established with free association of the citizens in order to realize, protect and harmonize their interests and beliefs about the promotion of adult education and to perform activities for supporting informal learning and obtaining knowledge and skills via voluntary training programs, on the territory of Macedonia and beyond. The basic objectives and tasks of the Knowledge and Skills Management Centre are: connecting the professional education for elderly with the needs of the labor market; upgrading the professional qualifications of the beneficiaries by strengthening their employment and competitiveness prospects; using modern and innovative learning tools and knowledge and skills management tools.
