On 9th October 2025, the German partners of the Conference on Project Development (CPD) network hosted a networking and dissemination event as part of the Europe-wide ERASMUS+ DAYS.

Various participants from educational providers, associations, chambers, SMEs and institutions used this opportunity to establish networks and exchange experiences regarding European projects. In her keynote speech, Katharina Engel (BiBB) emphasized the advantages of multilateralism and hightlighted the importance of international cooperation and the transfer of best practices for promoting global progress. Peter Dohmen provided up-to-date information on his work in the User Advisory Board NABiBB, e.g. on the use of AI in funding application procedures, and was available to answer questions.

The guided ERASMUS+ Gallery Walk provided practical insights and highlighted the diversity of European project work, from promoting the use of digital innovations in construction and the reintegration of offenders, to innovative tools for supporting career guidance and onboarding, as well as trainee mobility and the prevention of political extremism. The participants expressed strong interest and recognized the added value of the project results for their work at the local, regional, and national levels.

In two workshops, participants gained insights into open-source solutions for their work as drivers of digital sovereignty in Europe and identified niches and synergies as key factors for successful long-term project work. The panel discussion with prominent representatives from various European networks (Gregory Makrides: EAEC Network; Gianluca Coppola: DLEARN; Sabri Ben Rommane: @esn_int; Lars-Rosario Scarpello: CPD) dealt with ways to identify suitable partners for projects and the importance of strong networks, particularly those that engage in regular personal exchange, for the successful implementation of projects.

Due to resounding success, the event format will be continued next year.
